Our Bardolino Superiore LASSUPERIORA comes from a vineyard of about 2 hectares located on one of the highest hills in the classic Bardolino area. At 300 meters above sea level, on very poor soil consisting mainly of stones and sand, this vineyard is in an ideal position to produce high-quality grapes that can give rise to complex and long-lived wines. It is the only vineyard we have that does not overlook the lake, so here the microclimate is predominantly influenced by the pre-Alps. We harvest here at the end of September; the wine is then fermented for about three weeks in concrete vats and aged for one year in wooden barrels and one year in the bottle before being released to the market.
