All our soils originate from moraine deposits, hence from the last glaciation that formed Lake Garda. They are limestone soils, devoid of clay, with lots of sand and silt. Depending on the location, you can find many stones that help to drain even the heaviest rains. These soils allow us to focus not so much on the structure and alcohol content of the wine, but on the finesse, elegance, minerality, and sapidity thanks to the limestone they are rich in. To produce complex wines, here we must limit the grape production per vine to the maximum, so that the message that starts from the roots reaches each individual cluster clearly.
